In November 2012, Vanke building experimental tower was officially opened. Vanke experimental tower is jointly designed and operated by Vanke and the national residential and residential environment engineering technology research center of China Architectural Design and Research Institute. It is the first and the world's highest experimental tower for residential equipment system in China. The tower is 122.9 meters high, 38 floors above the ground and one floor underground, covering an area of 3000 square meters, with a total construction area of 8281.561 square meters. It is a domestic residential equipment system performance testing base and a national equipment system certification center, Provide experimental basis for the standard formulation of equipment specialty.

The research contents mainly include: the performance of residential drainage system; Noise test of drainage pipe; Test and Research on the tightness of residential drainage system; Testing of water supply and drainage related products and components; Research and development of special water supply and drainage products; Study on the performance of rainwater system.

Through 3D printing technology, the filter screen device accessories in the drainage filtration system can be quickly designed and verified to improve the R & D efficiency. The G5 nozzle temperature of Piocreat pellet 3D printer can reach 450 ℃, and the extrusion force is strong. It can easily print many consumables. The printing layer thickness is 0.2-1.0mm, which can also meet the needs of aesthetics. The positioning accuracy can reach 0.05mm, which can ensure the good realization of the product prototype. Therefore, Vanke chose G5 for R & D and testing.
