Performance test of G5 printing support wheel of Piocreat industrial granular 3D printer
In the process of industrial manufacturing, the performance test shall be carried out after the product design is completed. The emergence of
industrial 3D printers can quickly make samples with different materials, compare performance and select the best batch manufacturing scheme.
Here we will introduce the performance test process of the support wheel made of Piocreat granular material 3D printer G5. We use TPU, PA and PP materials to make the support wheel with the same specification at the same hot bed temperature (80 ℃) for extrusion and impact test.
The red support wheel is made of TPU material. It is printed with a nozzle with a diameter of 1.0mm, a printing temperature of 220 ℃ and a red color masterbatch. The surface is smooth and delicate with good tactile elasticity. After repeated extrusion and impact, the caster surface has dents, which can be quickly restored to the original state, and has good mute effect. It is often used in mobile carts in workshops, warehouses, supermarkets and restaurants.
The brownish gray support wheel is printed with PA material, and its surface has neat lamination and frosted texture. After extrusion and impact test, the impact sound is low, the surface is not concave, and the impact point has no change. The support wheel made of PA material is often used in mobile equipment in the fields of power industry, petrochemical industry and aviation industry.
The gray support wheel is printed by PP, with good surface adhesion and general gloss. After repeated extrusion and impact, the sound is small, the surface does not bend, leaving only white spots. The support wheel made of PP material is often used as parts of electric machinery, electrical equipment and automobile manufacturing.
